1. Registration data
In order to use certain features such as enrolling in a course, you will be required to create a user account. When you do this, we will collect and store the registration data you have provided such as e-mail address, password, gender, date of birth, and age, and we will assign You a unique identifying number (“Registration Data”)
2. Profile Data
You may also have the option of providing additional information like a photo, headline, website link, social media profiles, or other data. Which may be publicly viewable by others. Course Information When you enrol in and take courses, We collect information relating to taking Courses, including, without limitation, topic, course and assessment completion activity and other items submitted to satisfy the Course requirements, (“Course Information”), your exchanges with instructors, teaching assistants, and other students; and essays, answers to questions, and other items submitted to satisfy course requirements.
3. Payment Data
If you make purchases, we may collect certain data about your purchase (such as your name and address) as necessary to process your order. You must provide certain payment and billing data directly to our payment processing partners, including your name, credit card information, billing address, and zip code. For security, we do not collect, access or store sensitive cardholder data, such as full credit card numbers or card authentication data.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. – With Other Students and Instructors:
Depending on your settings, your shared content and profile data may be publicly viewable, including to other students and instructors. If you ask a question to an instructor or teaching assistant, your information (including your name) may also be publicly viewable by other users depending on your settings.
We share data that we have about you (except your email address) with instructors or teaching assistants for courses you enrol in or request information about, so they can improve their courses for you and other students. This data may include things like your city, country, browser language, operating system, device settings, the site that brought you to Udemy, and your activities on WiseChalk. If we collect additional data about you (like age or gender), we may share that too. We will not share your email address with instructors or teaching assistants. We also enable our instructors to implement Google Analytics on their course pages to track sources of traffic to their courses and optimize their course pages.
– Educational Institutions and Scholarship Partners:
If you are taking a course sponsored or associated with a particular Educational Partner (e.g., such as a university or scholarship/sponsored partner), we may share information about you and your performance with the university or scholarship partner, including to report on your progress in the course. Information shared with our Educational Partners will be subject to the privacy policies and procedures of such partners.
– Business Partners:
We have agreements with other websites and platforms to distribute our Services and drive traffic to WiseChalk. Depending on your location, we may share your data with these partners.
– Related Entities and Affiliates:
We may share information with our affiliated companies that are under the common ownership or control of WiseChalk.
WiseChalk takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of, data that You share, and We collect and store. Unfortunately, however, no system can be 100% secured, and We cannot guarantee that communications between You and WiseChalk, the Services, or any information provided to Us in connection with the information We collect through the Services will be free from unauthorized access by third parties. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
